Have an impressive amount of junk but not quite enough for a roll-off? Rent a lugger dumpster to return your basement, attic, or garage to its former uncluttered glory. Lugger dumpsters let you easily toss in junk from a short open side, and they’re small enough to fit in your driveway or yard.

To choose the right-sized dumpster, consider the bulkiness of the materials you’re disposing of and/or the size of the room you’re clearing out. For moving or decluttering a modest-sized home, a 20 yard dumpster may be perfect, while for a remodeling or construction project, you’ll want to go bigger. Depending on the size of your yard, 10, 15 or 20 yard dumpsters work well for landscaping projects and yard waste disposal.
Roll-off dumpsters are larger with a rear gate, ideal for big projects like renovations or construction. Lugger dumpsters are smaller, with higher sides and no gate, perfect for smaller clean-ups in tight spaces, like garages or attics. Choose a roll-off for large, heavy jobs and a lugger for smaller, residential tasks.
For a construction or demolition project, a roll-off will accommodate bulkier items and heavy debris. If you’re decluttering or cleaning out a basement, attic, or garage, a lugger dumpster will provide enough space while being easier to maneuver. Consider the available space in your yard or driveway when selecting the right dumpster, as lugger dumpsters are more compact. Be mindful of weight limits, as materials like concrete and dirt may exceed capacity in smaller dumpsters.
The weight and total capacity of your dumpster may be different. For example, if you are disposing of concrete, you may reach your weight limit quickly but not your dumpster’s capacity. We rent our dumpsters for a flat rate up to a certain tonnage with taxes, fuel and administration fees included in the price. If the contents in your dumpster weigh over the ton cap, you will be charged a prorated per ton over cap fee.
